Although the prevalence of cigarette smoking has declined over time, the use of other inhaled products, such as electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS; vaping or electronic cigarettes [e-cigarettes]), and recreational marijuana use have increased. In 2019, approximately 21% of adults in the United States used any tobacco product.
